Day Trips
Due to rising fuel costs, the bus companies have raised their prices again
this year. Last year we held our price, but this year we need to add $5
to the price of the day trips, bringing them to $40.

Canada
Dave & Sagan Sanderson will be running the always popular Mt. Blanc,
Canada trip, January 23-28 2007. Even though we no longer have the exchange
rates driving down the cost of this trip, as we have in the past, It is
still an unbeatable bargain. The price of $550 includes ski-in, ski-out
lodging at Mont Blanc, five full breakfasts Monday through Friday, five
gourmet dinners Sunday through Thursday, and Six days lift tickets at
Mt. Blanc and Gray Rocks. Prices are per person/double occupancy, and
include all Canadian taxes. Other arrangements are available such as suites,
single or triple ocupacy hotel rooms, or condos. 70+ seniors and non skiers
are $475. The Hotel includes: swimming pool, exercise room, hot tubs,
steam, sauna and game room, and is located right at the base of the main
lift.
Vacancy
Our Ski Trip Chairman has moved to California and has therefore tendered
his resignation. The executive committee is looking for a volunteer to
take the job, for the rest of the season. Most of the work is done, so
this would not be a major undertaking.
Mailing
Lists
As you have no doubt noticed, the busy schedules of our officers have
made it increasingly difficult to get paper copies of the news letters
mailed out to all the members in a timely manner. We ask everyone who
can, to please sign up for our email lists, so that you will get all the
information in a timely manner, and make it that much less of a burden
to get paper mailings out to those who do not have email. To sign up for
our email list go to:
